Since 2015, the Jazzbühne in Lech has been enriching the summer cultural calendar on the Arlberg, and in 2026, the festival will celebrate its 12th edition. In August, the town transforms into an alpine stage for jazz greats from around the world, who create unforgettable moments against the impressive mountain backdrop of the Arlberg. What began as a small initiative has developed over the years into an integral part of the summer and now attracts an audience that is just as diverse as the musical program itself.
The performances will take place at the “Lechwelten” event venue, a location that impresses with its stunning architecture and first-class acoustics, located just a two-minute walk from the Romantik Hotel Die Krone in Lech. The program features jazz in all its forms, but contemporary music can also be heard at the Jazzbühne in Lech am Arlberg.

Jazzbühne Lech 2026 brings together five distinct musical signatures.
Tres Caballeros, a well-attuned working trio, blend tradition and modernity into a sound full of clarity and dialogue – Tobias Faulhammer, Gregor Aufmesser, and Jakob Kammerer have been developing a shared musical language since 2022.
A special highlight of the program is "Bird", Clint Eastwood's award-winning film portrait of jazz legend Charlie Parker, for which Forest Whitaker won Best Actor at Cannes in 1988.
The Paul Cornish Trio represents one of the most exciting young pianists on the scene: signed to Blue Note Records in 2025, Cornish is also a member of Joshua Redman's live band.
Exceptional Azerbaijani pianist Isfar Sarabski won the Montreux Jazz Festival piano competition at the age of just 19 and blends ecstatic jazz with cosmic swing in his trio.
The Elina Duni Trio completes the lineup: the multilingual singer, who has released two acclaimed ECM albums, seamlessly translates traditional Albanian songs into the jazz idiom and enchants with melancholic original compositions.
After an atmospheric evening of concert music, the music doesn’t have to end there.
